- Since the second semester of Academic Year 2023–2024, the Executive Yuan has provided housing subsidies for Taiwanese students living in on-campus dormitories. The subsidy is NT$5,000 per semester for general students, and NT$7,000 per semester for students from low-income or lower-middle-income households and children of active-duty military personnel. The subsidy will be deducted directly from the semester dormitory fee. Please check that the amount shown on your payment bill is correct.
- Overseas Chinese students or international students who hold R.O.C. (Taiwan) nationality must email a copy of their R.O.C. ID card to the staff member in charge at the Student Housing Service Division. The subsidy cannot be applied if the required document is not provided.
- Children of active-duty military personnel must submit supporting documentation to Ms. Feng at anhua@ntu.edu.tw. The documentation must be submitted every semester.
- For students admitted from the waiting list after the semester begins, the dormitory fee and internet fee will be calculated proportionally by week. The housing subsidy will also be calculated proportionally.
-
Students applying for a student loan should call the Student Housing Service Division at (02) 3366-2266 and request that the dormitory fee be added to the tuition and miscellaneous fees system. After the Student Housing Service Division and Cashier Division update the system, please download the revised tuition and miscellaneous fees payment bill and proceed with your student loan application.
If you have already applied for a student loan covering off-campus accommodation expenses, you do not need to contact the Student Housing Service Division.
